Sufjan was on good form peforming songs like chicago, barn owl, night killer, borderline, john wayne gacy jr., casimir pulaski day and the seer´s tower. (that´s the songs i can remember) have driven 8 hours after deciding the same the that i had to go there it, just being there was amasing! The kamerad & spelemann festival has to be the strangest festival ever. Located in a small village not even the people working in gas stations 30 minutes away new were was. The people living in the village all helped to arrange the festival. The venue was a a factory "famous" fo making windows called nordan was closed a coulpe of days to make room for bands like serena manesh, wovenhand and sufjan stevens. What met you inside the factory was a distinct smell off lumber. The festival attracted young and old from the the village and nearby places. When Sufjan played most of them were extremly drunk, many not caring about sufjans tender apperance, resulting in lots of noise from the back of the venue, then met by fans to shut the fuck up. The noise and drunk was the only thing that´s didn´t make this my favourite gig ever. Sufjan was on top form. At the end of Sister he was joined by best friend Emil Nicolaisen and his band Serena Manesh resulting in the noisiest sound you could ever imagine. The end of Sister lasted for about 15 minutes, making it the longest G chord noise ever in history. The next week Sufjan spent hiking and fishing with Emil, probably a good way to holiday after the festival! Love goes out to Sufjan! Borderline has to be the best song ever! That song alone made it all worth while!
